Final Assignment

Final Assignment - Charity Drive

Synopsis

This final assignment is basically for us to raise funds, a target of Rm2700 and donate it all to charity. We were to come out with our own business plan on how to achieve our goal, find our own sponsors and determine which charity home we want to donate our money to.
My group, we did in fact got a significant amount of sponsorship which helped us and motivated us a lot along the way. Our chosen charity home was "Promise Home" a non-profit organization that provides shelter and education to under privilorang aslis.

Experience

This final assignment has taught me alot. Getting a taste of the real world - to earn money through our own hardship. Coming out with various business strategies to fight problems such as not being able to fry our products in our booths.
We had learnt how important team work is, at times I ran back and forth, selling our products, preparing our products, I wished I had more of myself. However I realised I had an entire team behind me, so we talked it out, gave roles and each and everyone of us played an important role in this assignments.
Although we were a great team, some members were very relectant to cooperate and didn't participate in this event as much of many of us. It is unfair however it was up us ( the ones working hard) to get it to their head that we need each and everyone of us.
I really realised it is true some of us are meant to be leaders while others to be followers. Some of the members must really be guided step by step and commanded in order to perform certain actions.

All in all it was a great experience for me, we reached our goal, surpassed it by Rm1000 infact. Seeing how kind hearted people can be, while on the other hand how cold some can be. This was definitely an eye opening experience.
